With its successful release last March 2, 2011, we were all hyped up with its incredible wonders- FaceTime, A5 processor, iOS 4.3.4, lightweight and thinner built. No questions about it- this is a really cool innovation. True, Steve Jobs has enough reasons to rest on his laurels with the unparalleled success his company is putting on its own lot. No wonder, he now confidently gave his throne up as Apple CEO to Tim Cook.

Point 1: Compared to Windows 7, which took 20 weeks to reach 10 percent of the Windows install base, Lion reached that percentage in only two weeks. Of course, they didn't say that Lion had a lot less computers to reach, but ...

At the beginning of this year, apple i watch said that Apple didn't want its products to serve with rich only. People believe that it means that Apple will create a smaller size of iPhone and iPad to reduce the price. Although iPad has been the dominant position in the Tablet PC, other brand of products push differentiation strategy which will stress Apple a lot. Therefore, we believe that Apple will launch some smaller size products to increase users.

The highly popular video game Assassin's Creed has been rumored to come ot the screen and this week we got confirmation that not only will the game e coming to the big screen but that Michel Fassbinder (X-men First Class and Shame) will be playing the assassin. No plot details have been released but it does have a apple iwatch for June 19, 2015.

It is Mark Elliot Investment's opinion that Android is the most serious threat to Apple's future. Remember when IBM and Apple made more expensive personal computers? Then the inexpensive PC clones came out and the personal computer marketplace was revolutionized. Apple will need to keep strict control of their features, costs and quality to stay ahead of Android. Still, apple smart watch is right. Apple probably has another year before Android can compete with them toe to toe. If you want to hedge your bets in this area, you can always buy some of Google's stock. Remember, you do not have to bet on one horse to win when you own stocks! However for me, I think there are other opportunities that have better appreciation potential than Google. I shall be reporting on them in another article.

Jobs moved on to this company you might have heard of: Pixar. Pixar began life in 1979 as the Graphics Group, part of the Computer Division of LucasFilm before being acquired by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in 1986. The Walt Disney Company bought Pixar in 2006 at a valuation of $7.4 billion, with the transaction making Jobs the largest shareholder in Disney.

Scott Forstall was close to Steve Jobs. Many say that Jobs provided cover for Forstall, who was a polarizing figure within the company. Well, Steve Jobs is gone, and now, so is Scott Forstall. In some ways, this is the biggest step that has yet been taken to make this Tim Cook's Apple. Both Steve Jobs and his heir apparent are gone. So too, are some of their ideas that brought us iOS in the first place. Change and new blood are good for a company like Apple. A little uncertainty will keep things fresh. For the first time, we will not know what to expect for the next few OS releases of either platform. Neither, I suspect, does Apple. And that's a very good thing as far as I'm concerned.
